Great Weight Vest

Having owned this weight vest for a couple of weeks now and having given it a good test run, I’m in a better position to leave an honest review. I’m very pleased to say that the vest has really lived up to my expectations so far!

Pros:

- Build quality is much better than I expected.

- Very comfortable to wear (once fitment is adjusted)

- Can easily accomodate additional weight plates

- Competitively priced compared to others on the market

Cons:

- Not supplied with any instructions, so you’re left to figure out how to adjust the fitment and correctly/safely install the weight plates (I’ve since discovered a couple of guidance videos on YouTube which massively helped).

- Was sent via Yodel, the first attempt failed as Yodel damaged the vest in transit, so I never received it! Very frustrating. Can’t fault the speed at which Force Fitness followed up with a resolution though. I asked for the replacement vest not to be sent via Yodel (due to previous bad experiences). The second vest was sent via DPD and arrived two days later.

The quality of the vest gains 5 stars, but the frustrations I had with Yodel mean that for an honest review of my experience I have to deduct a star (4 stars overall).

I have offered my feedback to Force Fitness about how poor and unreliable Yodel can be so hopefully they may choose to improve their courier choice going forwards.

Customer service (via email) has been excellent and very responsive, although I believe it would be better to also have the option of a contact phone number for general queries, instead of just an email address.

Overall, if you’re on the fence about whether to invest - go for it, you really feel the benefits!

After sales are excellent and the weighted vest is a very robust quality item. It has only been seven days since receipt of the vest and I am already feeling the benefits of using it well my body is aching in all the right areas!
