The Snow Leopard Commando Unit, known as 雪豹突击队, stands as a premier branch within the Chinese police force, specialising in counterterrorism, hostage rescue, riot control, and VIP protection. Renowned for their exceptional training and versatility, these elite operatives are part of the Beijing Armed Police, ready around the clock to respond to any emergency.

Joining Requirements: To become a member of the Snow Leopard Commando Unit, candidates must be between 18 and 30 years old and hold Chinese citizenship. Eligible applicants can be either active soldiers or police officers and must undergo a rigorous selection process.

Fitness Tests

    • Pass: 100 reps without a time cap
  2. Sit-Ups

    • Pass: 200 reps without a time cap
  3. Squats

    • Pass: 100 reps without a time cap
  4. Barbell Lifts

    • Pass: 100 reps without a time cap
  5. Ruck Run

    • Pass: Complete a 10 km ruck with a 35 kg ruck
Pre-Selection Snow Leopard: Candidates aiming to join the Snow Leopard Commando Unit face an arduous selection process, including rigorous physical fitness tests. These tests include various exercises such as pushups, sit-ups, squats, barbell lifts, and a demanding 10km ruck run with a 35kg load.

Snow Leopard Commando Selection: During the selection phase, candidates endure a grueling "hell week," carrying a 40kg ruck and covering 260km in a week. They face minimal sleep and nutrition, simulated enemy attacks, and intense psychological tests, including the challenging "Fire Barrier" obstacle course. Successful candidates demonstrate climbing proficiency, teamwork, and resilience.

Chinese Elite Police Basic Training: Upon selection, Snow Leopard Commando Unit recruits undergo specialised training encompassing advanced driving, weapons proficiency, IED detection, hand-to-hand combat, reconnaissance, survival skills, live-fire drills, and scenario-based training. Training is rigorous, testing candidates' physical and mental fortitude in harsh conditions.
